Youth

For young people, confronting addiction is more than just dealing with peer pressure. It may be recognizing the signs of addiction in a friend, dealing with their own addictions - or even helping someone in their household face the challenges addiction brings. Without experience, it's hard to know what to do - Manitoba Partners for Addictions Awareness - MPAA - Youthand how best to help those around you who may be in trouble.


Learning how to confront these challenges is important for youth, not only to live their own lives to the fullest - but also to help those closest to them work through challenges with substance use/misuse, alcohol, or gambling.
